Anyone who’s ever purchased real estate will tell you there are a lot of people involved in the process. Some work for the buyer, some work for the seller, and some work for the mortgage lender. Some do their work out in the open and some do theirs behind the scenes. With so many people involved it creates a lot of opportunities for things to go just as they should and it also creates opportunities for details to slip through the cracks.
As a buyer or seller you won’t need to know the details of every job that gets done during your transaction. Just as in running a business or managing a project, the most important thing you need to know is that you’ve put a good team together to get the job done. One weak link can make a real estate transaction tough on everyone, so as a reference I’ve provided a short list of some real estate service providers my clients and I have had good experience with in the past.
